Tribe? Cult? Family! Hailing from Arkansas, Rwake has been crafting their heavy sound since 1996. After several demos and comp. tracks, Rwake released "Hell is a Door to the Sun" on Retribute Records in 2002. Hell is a Door to the Sun was supported by countless U.S. tours and began to get the band noticed by press and fans alike with the song Stoner Tree gaining immediate attention "I don't give a shit about Jesus! I am too busy getting High!"

Several felonies latter, "If You Walk Before You Crawl You Crawl Before You Die" was recorded at Volume
Studios by Sanford Parker (Pelican, Venomous Concept) in March of 2004. The audio documentation is now
complete and the waves of sonic hostility will speak for themselves!!
